Short questions, honest answers.
What does Designey cost?
Getting the app costs nothing. Every picture costs one credit, available as packs or as a plan. Credits you buy never expire, and if a picture fails you get the credit back. Browsing rooms and products and going to the retailer costs nothing.
Do I need an account?
Only for your first picture. Before that you can upload photos and look around. You sign in with Google or a 6-digit code by email, and in the iPhone app with Apple too. There is no password.
How do I take the best photo?
Stand in a corner or in the doorway, hold the phone sideways at chest height. An empty room is ideal but not required. Up to four photos from different angles help, and Designey draws from the best one.
Where does the furniture come from?
From the current range of XXXLutz Austria, about 10,000 pieces of furniture and decor for living rooms and bedrooms. Every piece is real and one tap away from its product page. You buy directly from the retailer.
Will my room look exactly like this?
Not quite, and we say so. Every picture is an AI image. Walls, windows and floors may differ slightly. The furniture in it is real, though. Sizes and prices are in the list, and you buy straight from the retailer.
Which rooms can I furnish?
Living rooms and bedrooms. The kitchen is coming soon.
What happens to my photos?
They stay private, are never shown publicly and never sold. To create a picture they go to our AI partners with your consent. If you delete your account, we delete your photos, pictures and videos, your saved products, your credits and your email address at once. Invoices for purchases stay for seven years because tax law requires it, a one-way code made from your email address stays for 60 days so the free pictures are not given twice, and the payment providers keep their own records. The details are in section 6 of the privacy policy.
Is there a Designey app?
Yes, Designey is an app for iPhone and Android. There is no Designey in the browser.
Try it with your room.
One photo is enough. Get the app and furnish your room.
